In 1987, Independent Home Health Care opened as the areas first independent agency. Being a privately owned agency meant that IHHC needed to provide services demonstratably better than the alternatives. For the past 17 years, Independent Home Health Care has done exactly that.

Operating under the regulation of the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services, Independent Home Health Care was the first independently owned and operated home health agency I the Wise and surrounding areas and has been in the home health business for over 17 years. At the time of the opening, there were no other home health agencies in the area that were not in affiliation with a local hospital. Thus, Independent Home Health Care was the first on its kind for the area it serves and remains a successful business today. Serving the community for 17 years reflects our commitment to the provision of the highest standard of care.
